Ohh. For the first time in a really long time I’m having trouble sleeping. I don’t know exactly why or what’s going on. But my head is filled with thoughts making it impossible to calm down. Maybe it’s some kind of unknown feeling for my body and mind to not be hung over. Because this weekend have been really calm and collected. I sat in school yesterday evening with Steph, and later on Yvonne aswell. Felt good to get away from home and just chill out with everything that have happenend in my personal space the last week.

Right now I’m having some freelance work offers. They’re pretty scattered in different areas which I believe could be a good thing. Fun and educational.

And as usual I’m posting a little piece. This one is aswell as the previous one a poppy collage very inspired by my classmate Simone and some other artists featured in Computer Arts and around the web.

Now it’s not that much time left. Our preparations for the presentation tomorrow have been taking up almost all the day. Maybe except for me. I’ve still got som issues with one of my tooths, actually the one I fixed yesterday. Issues as in a sore gum. A very sore gum. Haven’t hardly eaten anything since my dentist appointment due that. So I had a pretty rough time today, trying to gather my thoughts and preparing for tomorrows presentation. I ended up at home taking a nap to get rid of the really bad headache and sore mouth.

Despite the hard time at the dentist I manage to make a little something on the train back to Karlskrona. So this a kind of collage that pops up pretty often nowadays.

This weekend is coming to an end. Tomorrow I will visit the dentist yet again to fix the small things that are needed. Regarding the school, our project and module is entering the last week with presentations and finishing up the business plan. Even though I haven’t been in Karlskrona, the group seemed and still seems to make good progress. Feels really good to hear that, and especially good that we’re going to make it. They have some things left to do tomorrow, but from what I heard it’s not going to be a problem. So, almost time to concentrate on the so important presentation.

Right now I’m in some kind of graffiti-based and inspirational period. I can guarantee you that there will more illlustrations of this kind in the near future.

No, it isn’t. It’s ours, me and my group. Right now we’re doing our best to get this frustrating business plan finished. Or atleast somewhere near finished. Our idea rocks and we’re still surprised by the fact that it hasn’t already been developed, manufactured and distributed. Except amongst a very small portion of retailers.

This weekend I’m going home. I’m going home to see my friends again, birthday and house warming party. Hopefully this is one thing that will light my spark again and help me manage the dull Karlskrona fall.

Time for bed, need to get up bright and early tomorrow to get this business plan worked out.

Okey, yeah I know. It’s been a while since I last posted something here. Can’t say I’ll be better with posting, cause I know I’m not the typical blog person. This weekend I celebrated the release of OSX Leopard.. By formatting my harddrive and reinstalled Tiger. Retrovision. And at last I installed the Adobe CS3 Master Collection. Hopefully I wont experience any sluggishness with my Powerbook.

Some kind of a work in progress version. I’ll work with some details and finishing touches I guess. Not the latest stuff I made, but now I’ve got some more things to post later on.

Okey, so I’ve been a bit of lazy when it comes to updating this blog. Right now we are working with a module called “Experience Technology”. During this module we trying to make a different use for everyday technical devices. Our group got, maybe not a everyday device but eventhough, the little microcontroller “Arduino Diecimila”. Follow our progress here.

I also launched and updaed my personal portfolio. It felt as a pretty stupid thing to just have a temporary portfolio. So I got my stuff together and made myself a fairly simple Wordpress portfolio. www.hellodagman.com

Yet another week have passed and the days just flies by. Today was the deadline for our individual motion task. I was pretty pleased with the outcome of my 15 seconds video. Atleast for only been working with After Effects for around one week. My goal for the motion was to capture the feeling and characteristics of the old movie Tron.

Also today Sean and Yacco from Kong Amsterdam was at Hyper Island to have lecture. Where they talked a bit about Kong themselves, some case studies and such. We also got some more information about trends and what they thought was going to be hot in 2008. As our Information Society module is about to be finished this week I will return to this topic later on.

During the current module in school we’re supposed to create a blog as an individual assignment. This to promote ourselves and our brand, but also to  be able to reflect and share thoughts and feelings about the ongoing projects. We’re in the process of creating a common portal for all the Hyper Island students,  current and previous. This is the place where we will host our blogs amongst others. But for now I will keep this blog, and surely I will forward to this blog later on aswell. This will still be partly a creative blog where I willl post current projects and work.

As for now I will continue my work with the individual 15 seconds motion assignment. More info will come as the deadline is tomorrow.
